We offer 4, 6, and 8 hour trips to catch
Sailfishing is a very popular charter for the “El Gringo”. Captain Scott and the rest of the crew have been on the sea enough to know the perfect techniques to help you have a great time and has the knowledge to make some great catches. Whether you’ve never sailfish-ed before or you’re a veteran of the seas, you will enjoy your experience.
Location
Our sailfishing charters on “El Gringo” launch from the Miami Beach Marina (conveniently located near South Beach, Miami Beach, Miami, Hollywood, and Ft. Lauderdale) and travels the area between Ft. Lauderdale and Key Largo. We use a method of kite fishing, (the kite keeps the bait on the surface where the sailfish like to feed) that allows us to fish many great spots (ranging from 60 to 1000 feet deep).
What to Expect
When you book a sailfishing charter on “El Gringo”, we will usually high speed troll for a few minutes along the way to the sailfishing grounds—giving you even more opportunities to catch.
Some of the fish regularly caught on these trips include sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, tuna and wahoo—among many, many others. While sailfish and a few others are catch and release, you can keep most of what you catch. We even clean your catches for you. Winter is sailfish season, so, as the temperature drops, the catches become more and more impressive.
At Reel Limit Fishing Charters, our sailfishing charters are set up as half, 3/4, or full-day trips. We book these only as private charters for up to six passengers. All equipment is provided. El Gringo is the perfect size for up to six to enjoy the fishing experience and with fewer people aboard, Captain Scott and the other crew members can provide the one-on-one attention you deserve and will not get with other charters.
Captain Scott and his crew look forward to showing you how enjoyable and productive a day of sailfishing can be on “El Gringo”! As we mentioned, all equipment except for live bait is provided. However, you are welcome to bring your own too. Bring a few snacks and drinks if you desire. Call (305) 538-0771 to book your sailfishing trip today—we book up quickly! Also, feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. We hope to hear from you soon.
