Fishing for sailfish is a popular sport in the Palm Beach area.  “Sailfish Alley” holds many sails during the winter months.  These fish have a life span of about 4 to 5 years.  They are not much for table fare unless you are going to smoke it.  Most boats catch and release these fish.  They are seen on a daily basis in the winter free jumping to shake parasites out of their gill plates.
